学校预算
Individual schools receive discretionary funding, beyond funding for regular operational expenses, providing schools additional flexibility to meet the specific needs of their students. Discretionary resources from the federal and state governments include Lottery, 共同核心, 标题我, Economic Impact Aid and Local Control Funding Formula funds.
标题我, Economic Impact Aid and Local Control Funding Formula & Parent Involvement
The purpose of federal 标题我 funding is to ensure that all children have a fair and equal opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. It is part of the 小学 and Secondary Education Act first passed in 1965. The act is reauthorized by Congress from time to time and often given a new name. It is currently known as the No Child Left Behind Act. 标题我 funds are used to help improve academic achievement among disadvantaged students, or students who come from low-income families. Economic Impact Aid (EIA) is a state program supporting educational services for disadvantaged students and bilingual education services for English language learners. The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), proposed by California Gov. Jerry Brown and approved by the state Legislature in 2013, provides greater flexibility as to how certain state funds are used by local schools.
